Angelo Carollo is a researcher at the University of Palermo and is currently a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Radiophysics, UNN (direction - statistical radiophysics). After receiving his first Ph.D. in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at Imperial College London in 2004, he worked as a postdoc at the University of Cambridge and the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he joined IKOS as a Computational Finance Researcher.
Since 2009, Angelo has been working as a Research Fellow at the University of Palermo. Currently, the area of his research interests extends from critical phenomena in condensed matter systems, quantum open systems, memristors, topological phases of matter, as well as statistical physics applied to various applications.
