Angelo Carollo is a researcher at the University of Palermo and is currently a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Radiophysics, UNN (direction - statistical radiophysics). After receiving his first Ph.D. in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at Imperial College London in 2004, he worked as a postdoc at the University of Cambridge and the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he joined IKOS as a Computational Finance Researcher.

Since 2009, Angelo has been working as a Research Fellow at the University of Palermo. Currently, the area of ​​his research interests extends from critical phenomena in condensed matter systems, quantum open systems, memristors, topological phases of matter, as well as statistical physics applied to various applications.
