Mikhaylov Aleksey Nikolaevich obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UNN Lobachevsky (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) in 2000 and 2002, respectively. In 2006 he defended his Ph.D. in physics and mathematics. In 2001, he began his career as a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Solid State Electronics, RIPT (Research Institute of Physics and Technology) UNN. Since 2012, he has been the Head of the Laboratory of Physics and Technology of Thin Films. His scientific interests: physical foundations and applied aspects of the formation and modification of thin-film nanostructures, opto- and nanoelectronic materials using ion implantation.
